Much of the 50 years of excellence of Troop 711 is result of it's commitment to inuring that Scouts are able to reach the rank of First Class within a year of joining the Troop (not a requirement, but it does insure long term success.) Much of the 50 years of excellence of Troop 711 is result of it's commitment to inuring that Scouts are able to reach the rank of First Class within a year of joining the Troop (not a requirement, but it does insure long term success.) Part of the pathway to "First Class in the First Year" revolves around our weekly Troop Meetings. Troop 711 meets every Thursday (with some exceptions) from 7pm until 8:30pm. Meetings are structured to follow "best practices" with advancement opportunities provided at most meetings.
